We Found an AWESOME Free Camp for Families! 😍 | Boddington + Shotts River WA

Our latest weekend away took us from the Boddington 48 Hour RV Stop to Shotts River, and this one was such a good family getaway! 🚐🌲 We started in Boddington, and seriously, if you’re travelling with kids, this place has SO much going for it. Hotham Park has a massive playground, pump track, skate park, basketball court, fairy garden, walking and bike trails, river access and heaps more. The kids absolutely loved it… even if all three managed to leave with grazed knees and covered in bruises 😂 Then we packed up Vanessa and headed out to Shotts River in Collie to meet our friends and their girls. This was Vanessa’s first taste of corrugations, followed by a slightly sketchy bridge, an unsuccessful campsite hunt, a freezing cold water crossing inspection and eventually finding ourselves a beautiful spot amongst the trees. 😂 From there it was exactly our kind of weekend. Kids riding bikes and playing in the mud, campfires, cheesy garlic bread, an incredible caramel doughnut camp-oven dessert, sparklers and plenty of laughs.
