11 AM Sunday Service at Cardonald Parish Church | John Nicholson | 26-Jun-2026

This Sunday, John Nicolson continues the series “Who is Jesus?” as we explore a challenging section of Jesus' teaching from the Sermon on the Mount. In Matthew 5:38–48, Jesus presents teachings that seem to contradict the values and instincts of the world around us. Instead of retaliation, He calls for grace. Instead of hatred, He commands love for enemies. Instead of doing the minimum, He challenges His followers to go further in reflecting the character of God. Through the sermon, “Who is Jesus? 2: One who contradicts!”, we will consider how Jesus challenges conventional thinking and calls us to a radically different way of living. As we gather in worship, we are invited to listen afresh to the words of Christ and consider what it means to follow Him in our daily lives. Whether you are joining us in person or online, you are warmly invited to worship with us. 📺 Watch the livestream here: #cardonaldparishchurch #SundayService #WorshipAndWord #ChurchofScotland To give a donation towards the work of Cardonald Parish Church (Scottish Charity Number SC010265), you can do this securely using the following link: https://cardonaldparishchurch.org/
