11 AM Sunday Service at Cardonald Parish Church | Rev Paul Read | 18-Oct-2026 | Harvest Thanksgiving

This Harvest Thanksgiving Sunday, we gather to thank God for His goodness, His provision, and the abundance of His creation. In Psalm 65:1–13, we are reminded of God's generous provision as He waters the earth, blesses the land, and crowns the year with His goodness. The harvest itself becomes a testimony to the faithfulness of our Creator. In Luke 12:13–21, Jesus tells the parable of the rich fool, challenging us to think beyond accumulating wealth and possessions. The story raises an important question about how we use what God has entrusted to us and where we place our ultimate security. Through the sermon, “Whose Harvest Is It?”, we will reflect on gratitude, generosity, stewardship, and the reminder that all we have ultimately comes from God. As we give thanks for the harvest, may we also consider how we can share God's blessings with others and live with hearts that are rich towards Him. Whether you are joining us in person or online, you are warmly invited to celebrate Harvest Thanksgiving with us. #cardonaldparishchurch #SundayService #WorshipAndWord #ChurchofScotland To give a donation towards the work of Cardonald Parish Church (Scottish Charity Number SC010265), you can do this securely using the following link: https://cardonaldparishchurch.org/
