Sometimes the hardest person to grieve is someone who is still here. A friendship changes. A relationship ends. Someone you deeply love moves out of your life. Or maybe you're the one who knows you need to walk away — even though part of you desperately doesn't want to. And sometimes the grief is so intense that you begin to wonder: If this hurts this much, can it really be the right decision? In this video, I check in with my guides about what I call the "grief of the living" — the grief we experience when relationships shift, change, pause, or end, as well as the grief that can come when we leave old versions of ourselves behind. We explore: ✨ Why change and separation can create such profound grief ✨ The difference between human-level grief and soul-level grief ✨ What attachment may be showing us about what we're seeking outside ourselves ✨ Why some soul connections can feel impossibly difficult to release ✨ How to navigate the space between intuition and emotional pain ✨ Why bargaining and second-guessing can happen when we're trying to let go ✨ The grief that can accompany profound changes in our identity ✨ How surrender can help when we simply don't understand why something is happening The message that felt most important was: Surrender the truth as it is revealed to you. Sometimes we don't get the entire answer at once. We may know something needs to change without understanding why. We may know we're being called in a different direction while still deeply loving the person we're leaving behind. And sometimes the meaning of what happened only becomes clear in hindsight. Maybe the invitation isn't to have all the answers. Maybe it's to trust what is being revealed to you now — and allow the rest to unfold when it's ready. www.akashicazuree.com
