Solo Canoeing Sweden | Across Lake Rogen

Part 2 of my remastered Lake Rogen canoe expedition takes me onto the vast waters of Lake Rogen for the first time. What begins as an exciting start soon becomes a lesson in how quickly conditions can change. A strengthening headwind forces me to shelter in small coves, and one attempt to continue ends with the canoe being thrown onto the rocks by wind and waves. After waiting for calmer conditions, I finally make progress through this incredible wilderness, visiting several remote wind shelters before spending a magical night at one of my favourite camps near Bredåsjön. By the following day, the weather is changing once again...
