Along the way, the route passes Musashino Hachimangu Shrine, founded during the Enryaku era (782-806), and Gessho-ji Temple, established in the early Edo period, illustrating a town structure where historical sites coexist with modern commercial districts. Moving to the south side of the station, the walk leads to Inokashira Park, which opened in 1917 as Japan's first suburban park.
