The Volcano Brothers are a five-piece Nashville band specializing in pre-WWII Hawaiian music and Hawaiian steel guitar. This series of live performance videos was recorded at the Hale Manu Tiki Bar in Nashville, home of our good friends Justin and Mo Bird. These songs will all be featured on our new album, Light of the Hilo Moon, to be released September 25, 2026. "Hawaiian Capers" comes form the amazing recorded work of King Bennie Nawahi - one of our favorite artists of the era. His tunes are a little unhinged and so fun to play. This one was originally recorded in New York City in 1929. The Volcano Brothers are: Steve Dawson – National steel guitar Fats Kaplin – ukulele Richard Bennett – ukulele Andy Reiss – archtop guitar Dave Jacques – bass For more information on The Volcano Brothers, or to order the Light of the Hilo Moon vinyl LP or Bandcamp download, please visit: https://www.stevedawson.ca/volcano-bros
