🥗INGREDIENTS:
1. Yellow Moong Dal: 1 cup
2. Ginger
3. Green Chillies
4. Salt
5. Turmeric Powder
6. Cumin Powder
7. Chaat Masala
8. Onion
9. Tomato
10. Green Capsicum
11. Carrot
12. Sweet Corn
13. Curry Leaves: Finely chopped
14. Fresh Coriander Leaves: Finely Chopped
15. Eno Fruit Salt / Baking Soda: 1/2 tsp
16. Oil: For cooking
👩🏻🍳 PREPARATION METHOD:
1. Wash the moong dal thoroughly and soak it in sufficient water overnight.
2. Drain the soaked dal and transfer it to a mixer grinder. Add ginger, green chillies and a little water. Grind into a smooth, thick, pourable batter.
3. Transfer the batter to a bowl. Add finely chopped onions, tomatoes, green capsicum, carrots, sweet corn, curry leaves and fresh coriander leaves.
4. Add salt, turmeric powder, cumin powder and chaat masala. Mix everything until well combined.
5. Just before making the Moonglet, add Eno fruit salt or a little baking soda and gently mix the batter.
6. Heat a pan and grease it with oil. Pour a ladleful of batter and spread it gently into a thick, round pancake.
7. Cover with a lid and cook on medium-low heat until the bottom turns golden and the top is set.
8. Carefully flip and cook the other side until golden.
9. Serve hot with green chutney and tomato ketchup.
Enjoy your soft, fluffy and delicious Moonglet! 💛
