Audrey Hepburn won an Oscar for her very first starring role, in Roman Holiday, and for the next fourteen years she worked opposite the greatest leading men in Hollywood: Gregory Peck, Humphrey Bogart, William Holden, Fred Astaire, Gary Cooper, Cary Grant, Burt Lancaster, Rex Harrison, Peter O'Toole and Sean Connery. One of them introduced her to her first husband, Mel Ferrer, who became one of her co-stars too. What became of them? How long did they live, what did they do after their films with Audrey, and how did they say goodbye? We follow every one of them, along with Henry Fonda, George Peppard, Albert Finney and the three villains of Charade, Walter Matthau, James Coburn and George Kennedy, and tell Audrey's own story from wartime Holland to UNICEF. And at the end we meet the two co-stars from her final years who are still with us in 2026: Robert Wagner, 96, and Richard Dreyfuss, 78. Facts in this video were checked against Wikipedia and the news reports, obituaries and references it cites.
