Odisha Women Commission has taken up the case involving Arun Kumar Biswal, Additional Secretary in the Commerce & Transport Department, following allegations made by a woman employee. Police had earlier registered a case after the woman’s complaint and initiated an investigation. The Women Commission has sought a report from the Bhubaneswar DCP and directed that the investigation report be submitted within 15 days. Further action concerning OSRTC is expected after the police report is received, according to the information provided in the case update. The allegations against the officer are subject to investigation and due legal process.
