TURTUK VILLAGE 🇮🇳 | BALTI CULTURE, APRICOT FARMS & A HIDDEN MUSEUM | LADAKH VLOG 15 In Ladakh Vlog 15, I finally explore the beautiful and culturally unique Turtuk Village in Ladakh! 🏔️❤️ Turtuk felt completely different from the other places I had explored during my Ladakh journey. Instead of just visiting the popular tourist spots, I spent time walking through the village, meeting and talking to the locals, learning a few words of the Balti language, and getting a glimpse into their everyday life. One of the most interesting moments was discovering the connection between Balti and Tamil — something I definitely wasn't expecting! 😂 The village was also surrounded by beautiful apricot farms, and I got to see just how important apricots are to the local culture and livelihood. And finally, I visited a small museum inside Turtuk Village, where I got to learn more about the history, culture and traditional life of the region.
