Inside Afghanistan's MEAT Paradise!! (Unreal Afghan Food)

Afghan food is a meat lover's paradise — from a legendary slow-simmered breakfast in Kabul Old City to a riverside lamb feast in Paghman Valley, just 45 minutes from the city at the base of the Hindu Kush mountains! Afghanistan's meat obsession is real, and today my friend Bilal Kamal and I are experiencing it from morning to night. We start in Kabul Old City with kalla pacha at Faizi Kalla wa Pacha Restaurant — slow-simmered sheep's head and trotters that just might be one of the world's greatest breakfasts. Next, hot out of the tandoor oven, we eat samsa — flaky Afghan baked meat pies — at Samarqand Sambosa Tandoori. Then we drive to the base of the Hindu Kush mountains to Paghman Valley, where locals escape the city for rivers, fresh fruit, lush green trees, and incredible food.
