Cold Weather Camper Renovation | Floor Work ~15

Cold Weather Camper Renovation | Floor Work #cold #weather #coldweather #camper #renovation #camperrenovation #floor #floorwork It was definitely a cold weather day outside, so we're making our way into the truck camper to try and escape the winter chill. Even with a small heater running for 30 minutes, it's a challenge staying warm when the outside temperature is in the 30s. This is the reality of camping OR renovation when the temperatures drop, but we're making the most of it inside! I know, I know! It's been a really long time. New England ain't no joke in the Wintertime. It's been bitter cold for so much of December and into January...then the rig was in the garage (one of these days I'm gonna disclose the name. I was gonna do it in this video, but got sidetracked) for a week or so. I hate to keep y'all waitin', and I hate being curtailed in my projects, but honestly? I ain't tryin' to freeze my arse off up here. This week it's we're doin' a li'l glow-up for the floor. I've always had the idea that something needed to happen with this floor...and then I remembered I had a whole box of those interlocking gym floor pieces from my art studio, and it occurred to me that the foam would be great insulating material as well. At the time, I had already bought the "floor accessories"...so we jus' gonna throw those on top! Come along to see whaaaaaaaaaaat I'm up to! Oh, OH! And have a look at my VERY cool ‪@phillyandkeely‬ merch! @FourWheelCampers⁩ has a great product...they hold their value very well, and while I'd love to have a new one, I'm havin' a great time with the one I have! Yeah, it could use some new things that I can't do...like some attention to the clear plastic layer of the windows, but...they're 21 years old, and they DO still work, so I have no real gripe. Actually, having a project to dig into, and being able to realize what "I" want is so empowering. If I had a new FWC, I wouldn't feel like I could tear stuff out, and paint, and fiddle-fart around with it, because it would be so pristine. Maybe later...when I grow up. haha...I'm loving making this my own. It's extremely well-built, and has held up remarkably well. This truck and camper have been all the way from Canada to South America, and it looks GOOD. I actually ran across the original owner in a Facebook group, and THAT was really cool. The guy I bought it from said that he'll be back in the country in April of '26, and would like to buy it back. Sorry buddy, not happenin'...unless there is some cataclysmic event in my life where I have to shed everything. (knock wood!) I've had some inquiries about my wish list. I went through my GIGANTIC wish list, and pared it down and curated it just for this platform. KNOW THAT I EXPECT NOBODY TO SEND ME ANYTHING. It's just a wishlist...it's not that big a deal, it's just...you know, we all have things we'd like to have, so I'm gonna share it. I'm not sharing my REI wishlist...because nobody can afford REI. LOL! But here's my Amazon "Camping" wishlist: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls... I am a @vidIQ affiliate.
