Can Anyone Move to Montreal?

Every few months the internet decides Montreal is the answer. Cheaper rent, bike lanes that stay where you put them, daycare that costs less than a phone plan. Then someone says they would move tomorrow if only they spoke French, and the conversation stops there. Quebec tops every StatCan quality-of-life measure in the country. It also runs most of its jobs in French, and unemployment for anglophones runs well above the francophone rate.
