Return of the Bonham Kit - 26" Bass Drum Groove

The Bonham kit is back! It’s been a while since I’ve sat behind this setup, and I’d almost forgotten just how much fun a 26-inch bass drum is to play. There’s something about the feel and response of a big kick that changes the way I approach a groove. This isn’t a cover or an attempt to recreate a particular John Bonham performance — just me getting behind the kit, finding a groove and letting it develop naturally. The audio was recorded as a 14-track multitrack session and mixed afterward, so what you’re hearing is the actual kit rather than the camera audio.
