Hiking and Camping the Tour du Mont Blanc (Sept 26) - Part 1 of 3

I hike and camp the Tour du Mont Blanc in September 2026 over 10 days with one rest day. I chose to hike all the main variants for the more spectacular views although this increased the mileage too 115miles and 10700m of elevation. I completed the multiday hike camping out in my tent making use of the designated camping spots, official campsites and some wildcamping. I chose to complete the trip fairly self sufficiently without relying on the refuges/hotels heavily for food and beverages keeping costs down and maximising flexibility. Part 1 follows the TMB over the first 4 days. Attention to TMB signage and suitable camp spots is made throughout for those interested in camping.
