How Every US President Died

Forty presidents, from Washington to George H. W. Bush, and the last day of each one. Some went quietly at home, some collapsed at work, and some were gone within weeks of taking the job. The film follows them in order and keeps one question in front of you: how did each man actually die? Along the way come the doctors who drained five pints of blood, the cherries and iced milk, the pistols that misfired, and a bullet carried in a chest for 39 years. You also get the last words, and the odd coincidences that run through the list. Three of the first five presidents died on the Fourth of July. Eight died in office, four of them at an assassin's hand. The story ends with the youngest and the oldest to die, and with the five men who have held the office since and are still living.
