Mid Norfolk Railway (Wymondham to Dereham) - 16th August, 2015

This is a ride on the Mid Norfolk Railway - a preserved 'heritage' railway in the heart of Norfolk serving many small villages and hamlets, connecting them with the towns of Wymondham - near Norwich, and Dereham. Starting at Wymondham Abbey halt, an 0-6-0 tank engine (WD194 3794 'Cumbia') takes our train of 3 Mk2 coaches and 1 Mk1 coach to Dereham, calling at Kimberley Park, Thuxton, Yaxham and Dereham. At Thuxton we see a BR Class 101 DMU pass us on its way to Wymondham Abbey.
