I Started With Just Three Colours | Create With Me

Today I’m creating a gentle mini series of intuitive mixed media abstract landscapes — something simple, grounding, and perfect for beginners as well as seasoned artists. Whenever I feel constricted, heavy-handed, or uninspired, I return to small pieces like this. They remind me that inspiration often arrives once we begin. Working with a limited palette brings so much calm and clarity. Soft layers, torn edges, textures, and quiet details — this process felt peaceful and unexpectedly meaningful. Thank you for creating with me today. More slow, quiet art days are coming. 🤍 ✨ Materials used: – Mixed media paper CANSON 300mg textured – Limited palette: Pyrrole red Cadmium yellow Chrome green black, white – Collage scraps – Glue / matte medium / acrylic inks – Pencils / markers / charcoal – Brushes + old credit cards ✨ Let’s stay connected: Subscribe for more creative content https://inherspirit.com IG   / studio_northbound   Welcome to Studio Northbound Art + Craft + Slow Living + Heading North Subscribe for calming, artistic videos every week, creativity and more.
