Walking through Hotaka, Azumino, in the late afternoon, as the setting sun casts a warm glow over the town.
At the foot of the Northern Japanese Alps, the landscape unfolds through rice fields, old storehouses, traditional houses, and quiet streets. Beyond the mountain scenery, there is an everyday side of rural Japan that can easily go unnoticed.
As the light slowly fades, I walk through this unfamiliar town, taking in the details of its streets and the traces of life that have shaped it.
This is not a sightseeing guide, but simply a walk through an unfamiliar side of rural Japan.
No itinerary, no commentary — just the sounds of the streets and the experience of walking as day turns to evening.
I hope you enjoy the walk.
Thank you for watching.
