Boulder, CO | Whelen WPS-3016 Siren Test and Malfunction

Hello everybody! Sorry for the huge lack of posts lately, I have been absolutely swamped with work, and when I am not at work I am out foaming, lol. I do have a very special short video series in the works, so keep an eye out for that! I'm not sure if I will be able to return to my normal schedule anytime soon unfortunately, but I will still try to post as much as I can! Anyways, here is another siren video! I haven't been able to shoot many sirens lately, but I did get this back in July! The Whelen 3016, out by Colorado University. I tried for this siren three different times, and only on the third time I was able to get it. The first two tests were cancelled due to weather. This 3016 used to have an analog controller up until pretty recently, when Boulder replaced it with one of the newer digital ones. I think they messed up installing it though, as the voice on this siren doesn't work. It clicks, but no voice. Thankfully the siren tone worked alright and sounded alright. I also met ‪@DenverMetroSirens‬ who got a pretty sweet lower shot of the siren, video link below. All in all, pretty fun little evening!
