New Mexico Landscape Drawn Line by Line - Pencil ASMR | Komputeko

I snapped a picture of this rock formation as I drove from Santa Fe to Los Alamos yesterday. I cropped the picture and adjusted the levels after converting it to black and white. Then I passed the cropped landscape photo to one of my scripts that generates SVGs for my axidraw pen plotters. This is a loose / fast version of the output. This video is low-res because I kept running out of disk space while generating the 95,592 individual frames. This drawing simulation is built from thousands of individual ink strokes. Each line has its own recorded sound I made with a pencil on the back of an envelope. The camera moves between the full composition on parchment and extreme 4K close-ups as the drawing forms. No music. Pencil on paper sounds. Contact me to buy a print. 🎨 Komputeko - algorithmic drawing and generative art. #pencilASMR #plotterart #Komputeko
