I Made It to Uzbekistan! | Deep into Central Asia

I’m crossing another border on my solo round-the-world motorcycle journey — and this time I’m riding into Uzbekistan. After the usual slightly chaotic border experience, I make it through and ride on to Tashkent, where my first taste of the city includes its extraordinary Soviet-era Metro. The stations feel more like underground museums, with elaborate architecture, artwork and a Cosmonauts-themed station that immediately makes me realise just how much history there is to discover here.
