Mimeophon | An Exploration in Sound | Eurorack Modular Synthesizer

I explore the modular synthesizer Eurorack module, Mimeophon in an hour long improvised session using 3 modules: Make Noise Mimeophon, RAND (Mutable Instruments Marbles clone), and Mutable Instruments Plaits. I always find it interesting seeing what music comes out of longer sessions like this. I often plan to just mess around for 10 minutes or so, but end up exploring much longer after getting lost in the journey, following the sounds where they take me. Of course certain sections seem to work out better than others. Some of my favorites from this session are: "Time is Ticking", "Tales of the Past", "A Secret Revealed", "Resolution", and "Under the Moon". 0:00 Time is Ticking 3:53 Festival 7:40 The River Below 9:28 Finding Our Time 1 10:33 Clouds in the Sun 11:29 Scattered Rain 14:08 Clear Skies 17:49 Finding Our Time 2 19:55 Tales of the Past 26:11 A Secret Revealed 29:40 Resolution 31:43 Finding Our Time 3 34:08 The Path Before Us 37:43 Sparks in the Dark 38:52 Finding Our Time 4 40:27 Under the Moon 46:42 We Had to Follow 48:53 The March 53:11 Finding Our Time 5 54:46 Further Down 55:19 Finding Our Time 6 55:59 Discovery 58:27 Within
