#ASMR #cookingvideo #homecook #foodvlog #soups #souprecipe #soupseason #easyrecipes #dinnerideas #fallrecipes #comfortfood #foodseries #redcabbage #redcabbagesoup #tashathedevotedwife I’m Back with another New Soup Recipe that I tried from the “Every Season Is Soup Season” recipe book. This Red Cabbage Soup With Crème Fraiche & Dill Recipe isn’t a Fall recipe, but I made it anyway, and I’m glad that I did! It’s not only beautiful to look at, but it’s also a delicious and light meal to enjoy for any occasion. I also cooked Shredded Chicken Flautas to enjoy along side the soup! And as always, I added my own little twist to the original Red Cabbage Soup Recipe as you will see in the video😊 But I’ve added the original Recipe below👇🏽 🍲Red Cabbage Soup With Crème Fraîche & Dill Recipe 1 tablespoon unsalted butter 1 tablespoon olive oil oil 1 red on 2 garlic cloves, minced 1/2 tablespoon caraway seeds 8 cups chopped red cabbage 1 Yukon, gold, potato, peeled and diced 1 teaspoon of salt 4 cups of vegetable broth 1/2 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar 4 ounce crème fraîche plus more for serving Dill sprigsfor serving Directions: 1. In a Dutch oven over medium heat, melt the butter and warm the oil. Add the onion and sauté until soft and 5 to 7 minutes. Add the garlic and caraway seeds and sauté until fragrant 30 seconds. Set aside half cup of the cabbage for topping. Add the remaining cabbage, potato and salt, and sauté into the cabbage has soften about 5 minutes. 2. Add the vegetable broth, 2 cups of water and the pepper and bring to a boil over high heat. Turn the heat down to medium low and simmer for at least 20 minutes to develop flavor. 3. Remove from the heat and stir in the vinegar. Use an immersion blender to blend until completely smooth. Stir in the crème fraîche. Taste in season with salt and pepper as needed. Serve top with the reserve, cabbage, more crème fraîche and a sprinkle of dill. Enjoy❤️
