Discover a Cheesy Bread Bake from Sardinia

This week, join 80-year-old Giovannina in northern Sardinia as she makes zuppa gallurese, a traditional dish made with layers of local bread called spianata, rich meat stock and plenty of melting cheese. If you visit the Gallura area, this is a dish you need to try. It’s comforting, rich, and cheesy. I call it a cheesy bread pudding.
