Super Donkey Kong (Xiang Jiao Chuan) — 1994-95 A Chengdu Tai Jing Da Dong bootleg that plays more like an original game than a straight port. Infamous for its awful controls and the most levels of any bootleg here: eight worlds, two stages each. Donkey Kong Country 4 — 1997 By Hummer Team, one of the best pirate ports of DKC on the NES. Surprisingly convincing graphics and sound, heavily trimmed content, and an ending that falls completely flat. Donkey Kong Country NES Edition — 2025 (modern hack) The community still updates DKC4 today, sharpening graphics, sound, and gameplay. The Jungle Book 2 — 1997 A mod built on the same DKC4 cartridge, swapping Donkey and Diddy for Mowgli. The Panda Prince — 1996 Made by ex-Sachen developers. Panda Prince and his buddy Panda Boy rescue the Panda Queen from a wasp. Barely four levels on the surface, but the cartridge hides full stages, an extra boss, and a bonus room only reachable with a trick. Super Lion King 2 — 1997 A Panda Prince hack starring Simba, unlocking the levels that stayed hidden in the original. Jungle Adventure — 200X Another Panda Prince hack, this time a boss-rush starring a brown bear, riddled with softlocks. Panda Baby — 1996-97 Dragon Co.'s take on the formula, and one of the buggiest games in the video: unbeatable hidden levels, a softlockable boss, and physics that kill you underwater. Super Donkey Kong (Ei-How Yang) — 1997 Also known as Jungle King, a Donkey Kong Land bootleg with flipped buttons and just five levels, looped three times before the real ending. Super Donkey Kong 2 — 1997 Ka Sheng's demake of Donkey Kong Country 2. Only Diddy Kong is playable, cut down to three levels, with a typo that swaps the G in the KONG letters for a second N. Donkey and Diddy Kong's pirate adventures cross seas, oceans... and consoles.
