UK Cops HANDCUFF Compliant Man Over A FAKE AXE Report!

A simple walk through the park. A report of a man with an axe. And one wrongfully handcuffed auditor. The auditor was stopped, searched and handcuffed after a member of the public reported somebody "matching his description" carrying an axe. The only problem? The axe never existed — and the search came back negative. Detained under Section 1 of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act (PACE) 1984, the auditor stayed calm and fully compliant, yet he was still placed in handcuffs before the search even began. Wearing blue tracksuit bottoms, a black hoodie and a face covering, he was told he matched the description of a male seen heading into the park with an axe. His bag contained a drone and a gimbal camera — he had just been filming in nearby Adlington and could prove his movements with mobile phone data. Nothing was found. No axe. No weapon. No offence. With an inspector, two sergeants and a PC witnessing the encounter, the auditor refused to give his name — which he is not legally required to do — and later went to Leyland Police Station to collect the search record.
