'' jann wenner '' - film interview 1968.

i will not be going into details on this upload due to the massive amount of history written already about the magazine 'rolling stone' and it's editor jann wenner.....its first issue was in october '67 and it was filled with amazing critical writing the likes we music fans hadn't read before...(and i know all about mojo navigator!')....but this was a different kind of magazine...big bold and brazen with photograph's to match....started with money borrowed from many people including raplh j gleason it quickly became the defacto read for anyone interested in the counter culture and its music...here wenner talks to a reporter about the evolution of music and the san francisco 'scene' in august '68....for a fuller story read 'rolling stone - the uncensored story' by robert draper and the recent 'sticky fingers' by joe hagen for the wonderful and amazing writing check out 'the rolling stone-rock'n'roll reader' edited by one of its best writer's ben fong-torres .....
