If you're tired of repetitive open worlds, these are 15 games that gave me back the feeling that what I'm doing actually matters. No clearing camps for the sake of it, no map full of icons, just games where the minute-to-minute play is the point. The list runs through Titanfall 2, DOOM Eternal, Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, Dead Space Remake, Resident Evil 4 Remake, Sifu, Lies of P, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Metro Exodus, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Hitman World of Assassination, Control, Hollow Knight, Dishonored 2 and Prey. Some are short linear campaigns, some are brutally hard, and a couple do have big areas, but none of them made me feel like I was ticking boxes. I still love exploring. I just want the things I find to be worth finding. Tell me which game pulled you out of open world burnout, because I'm always looking for more of these. 00:00 Intro 00:18 Titanfall 2 01:09 DOOM Eternal 01:58 Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon 02:51 Dead Space Remake 03:42 Resident Evil 4 Remake 04:31 Sifu 05:27 Lies of P 06:20 Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice 07:12 Metro Exodus 08:04 Deus Ex: Mankind Divided 08:55 Hitman World of Assassination 09:43 Control 10:35 Hollow Knight 11:27 Dishonored 2 12:16 Prey 13:13 Outro
