BLACK, SCOTTISH & PROUD! This song is a celebration of Black people who call Scotland home — those who arrived, those who built their lives here, and the children born beneath Scottish skies who are Scottish too. HC celebrates people of every race, background and journey. But when a community is a minority, its stories, achievements, families and contributions deserve to be seen, heard and celebrated. From the Highlands to the cities, from music and culture to family, work, education and community life, Black Scottish people are part of Scotland’s story. Different journeys. Different names. Different histories. One community. One Scotland. Black, Scottish and proud. 🧡📚
