“Does the Truth Offend You?” (John 5:16-30) September 20, 2026 #agapechurchAZ

Agape Church - 10 a.m. SUNDAY 6869 E Main Street, Mesa AZ (Southeast corner of Power Rd & Main St) A Calvary Chapel Church / Calvary Chapel Association "CCA" Church A mirror doesn't create flaws. It simply reveals what's already there. That's what Jesus did. His words and actions revealed people's hearts. Some responded in faith. Some responded by being offended. The legalistic JEWS were offended by what JESUS did, by what He said, and by the authority He claimed as the Son of God. And as we look at their reaction, we ask ourselves: Does the truth offend me, too? Watch this VIDEO by clicking on this link, and begin applying GOD’s word by answering these personal application questions. 1. When I disagree with what JESUS is doing in my life, do I move closer to Him for understanding or pull away in frustration? 2. What teaching of JESUS do I find difficult to accept, and what does my reaction reveal about my heart? 3. Are there areas of my life where I gladly receive JESUS as Savior – but resist Him as Lord? GOD bless you as you reflect on & apply HIS Word in your life.
