It’s based on John 5:6, and it’s a question that directly applies to us: Do you want GOD’s help? If the answer is “YES” --- I do want GOD’s help. I am willing to surrender and let GOD transform me”, then like this ‘sick man’, we can “move from” --- • Discouragement to Encouragement • Being controlled by ‘religion’ to ‘walking in the Spirit’ • Sin to “Sin no more” It’s GOD who does the work. It’s GOD who changes our lives. To apply GOD’s word, answer these personal application questions – starting with this statement: JESUS asked the man, “Do you want to be made well?” 1. How would I honestly answer that question regarding the struggles in my own life? 2. What is an area of discouragement, ‘religious living’, or sin in my life – with which I have grown comfortable? 3. Do I truly want change in any & all of these areas? 4. Starting with ideas from today’s Bible study, what will be my first step for change?
