1 Samuel 2:1-11 - Hannah's Song

Hannah's song is a song of praise, rejoicing, and glorifying God. In it, we see the framework for many such songs of praise and worship in the Bible and a template for rejoicing. When Mary rejoices after being told she would birth the Messiah, her song mimics Hanna's song here. This portion of scripture shows us how to praise the Lord, teaches us to rejoice even in the face of our enemies, and instructs us in trusting the Lord.
