Making Comics: Another Deadline, Same Old Me

My new production schedule is to draw four comics pages in two weeks. With two days left, I hadn’t started. Hang out while I work on my cosmic horror comic, The Shape of My Son, and wrestle with deadlines, thirty years of tracking billable hours, and finding time to draw with two young kiddos. Along the way, my watch collection turns into a conversation about always needing to know what time it is. My pages got finished, but how I seem to treat deadlines as a high wire act has not.
