You Can Be Free and Still Live Like a Slave — What the Red Sea Reveals About Grace | Tim Keller

What if God has already set you free, but part of your heart is still living like a slave? Exodus 14 and the crossing of the Red Sea reveal a profound picture of Christian salvation: freedom from condemnation, the lingering power of old masters, salvation by grace, and the need for a mediator. This message explores why believers can know they are accepted by God yet still be controlled by approval, success, fear, guilt, or self-righteousness. It also shows why Christianity is not about building a moral bridge toward God, but receiving the rescue God has accomplished through Christ. Discover how grace changes the order of obedience, why weak faith can rest securely in a strong Savior, and how the Gospel creates humility without self-hatred and confidence without pride. Reflect on what it means to cross from bondage into freedom—and then learn to live like someone who has truly been brought out. #TimKeller #Exodus14 #RedSea #GospelGrace #ChristianSalvation #JesusChrist #FreedomInChrist #ChristianFaith
