In this vlog, I drove around 15 km from Joshimath to Auli and started my Gorson Bugyal adventure. After reaching Auli, I took the chair lift to Point No. 8, from where the Gorson Bugyal trek begins. The trek is approximately 4 km one way (8 km total), involving both uphill and downhill sections. I had my guide accompanying me throughout the trek, which made the journey safer and more comfortable as a solo traveller. Gorson Bugyal is a beautiful alpine meadow trek surrounded by breathtaking Himalayan landscapes and a variety of Himalayan flowers, herbs and natural vegetation. Reaching the summit was truly rewarding, and I enjoyed my packed lunch there, which was arranged by Blue Poppy Holidays. As a solo traveller, I really appreciated how well Blue Poppy Holidays planned and organised my entire itinerary, including the trek, guide and meals. In the next day’s vlog, I have covered my rest day at Blue Poppy Resort, Joshimath, where I stayed and relaxed before beginning my much-awaited Valley of Flowers trek. 🏔️ Route: Joshimath → Auli → Gorson Bugyal 🚡 Chair Lift: Auli → Point No. 8 (500 Rs per head both sides) 🥾 Trek: Approx. 8 km round trip 🌸 Terrain: Alpine Meadows | Himalayan Flora 🎒 Packed Lunch: Arranged by Blue Poppy Holidays 🏨 Stay: Blue Poppy Resort, Joshimath In this vlog, I drove around 15 km from Joshimath to Auli and started my Gorson Bugyal adventure.
