Starting near the harbor at Parc Canalejas, our route takes us through Pl. Gabriel Miró and Pl. Portal de Elche before wandering further into the city centre. Along the way, you’ll see both locals and travelers soaking up the beautiful morning weather and scenic surroundings that make this seaside city feel like such a blessing. Passing by Pl. Gabriel Miró, where people were playing music and dancing freely in the open square, I could truly feel the vibrant, colorful energy of Alicante with every step. Alicante attracts visitors from all over Europe and beyond, drawn by its sun-drenched beaches and year-round mild climate. Compared to Elche, which felt a bit more intimate and traditional, Alicante carries a noticeably more international atmosphere. The blend of historic architecture, ornate facades, and towering palm trees creates a look and charm that is uniquely its own. Though the city centre isn't overly massive, it feels densely packed with rich heritage, culture, and beautiful spots around every corner.
