I Drove from Petaluma to Mendocino… Through California’s Redwoods

I drove from Petaluma to Mendocino through one of the most beautiful stretches of Northern California. The journey begins in Petaluma and continues north through California countryside, with a stop at Gowan’s Cider Garden before following Highway 128 toward the Mendocino coast. Along the way, the road changes completely as Highway 128 enters Navarro River Redwoods State Park, where towering redwoods surround the road before the journey continues toward Mendocino. This is the longer driving experience from our Mendocino road trip — following the road, watching the landscape change, and experiencing the journey almost as it happened.
