IN THIS VIDEO • Preparing a firm, flat, heat-resistant work surface • Pre-pressing to remove wrinkles and moisture • Positioning your transfer correctly • Applying firm, even pressure with your EasyPress • Pressing larger designs in overlapping sections • Cooling and peeling the clear carrier film • Finishing through baking paper • Troubleshooting adhesion and caring for your print EASYPRESS STARTING SETTINGS • Temperature: approximately 135–145°C • Initial press: approximately 10 seconds per section • Pressure: firm and even—you supply the pressure • Before peeling: cool for approximately 30–60 seconds; longer if still hot • Finishing press: 10–15 seconds per section through baking paper Baking paper is optional for the initial press while the carrier film is attached. Once the carrier is removed, cover the exposed print with baking paper for the finishing press. Never place the EasyPress directly onto the exposed design. These settings are for DTF Transfers Australia’s labelled Iron-On DTF Transfers. Do not apply them to standard Insta-Peel transfers, gang sheets or speciality finishes. Always follow the instructions supplied with your exact product. GARMENT SUITABILITY This method works best on suitable cotton T-shirts and garments. Polyester and blends are more difficult and need careful testing. We do not recommend this process for hoodies or garments with thick seams, pockets or uneven print areas. Check your garment’s care label and complete a test before production. Your EasyPress controls the temperature, but YOU supply the pressure. IF THE DESIGN LIFTS Stop peeling. Lower the carrier film back into position, cover with baking paper and reapply heat and firm pressure to the affected area. Allow it to cool again before retrying. If it still won’t adhere after re-pressing, contact us before applying more heat. AFTERCARE Wait at least 24 hours before the first wash. Wash inside out in cold water with mild detergent. Avoid bleach, fabric softener and harsh chemicals, and line dry wherever possible. Never iron directly over the print. NEED HELP?
