Breaking the Silence. Building Awareness. Inspiring Hope. Domestic violence doesn’t always leave visible scars. Its impact can reach far beyond what others see, affecting a person’s sense of identity, self-worth, safety, and emotional well-being. In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we had the privilege of welcoming Dr. Theresa Galan Bruce, Clinical Director at Transformation House, for an important conversation about the many faces of domestic violence. Throughout our discussion, Dr. Galan Bruce sheds light on the different forms of abuse, how they can manifest in relationships, and the profound emotional and psychological impact they can have. She also shares valuable guidance on recognizing warning signs, finding support, and accessing resources for those who may be experiencing abuse. 💜 Because awareness can lead to understanding, understanding can inspire action, and no one should have to face abuse alone. This interview also represents something meaningful to us: an opportunity to bring more voices into conversations that matter. By connecting with trusted community partners, professionals, and individuals with lived experiences, we hope to continue creating space for education, compassion, and connection around issues that impact the people and families we serve. We are grateful to Dr. Galan Bruce and Transformation House for sharing their expertise and partnering with us to help strengthen awareness in our community. 🎥 We invite you to watch, learn, and share. You never know who may need to hear this message. Together, we can Empower, Elevate, and Heal. 💜 If you or someone you know needs support, contact the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 800-799-SAFE (7233) or visit thehotline.org. #DomesticViolenceAwarenessMonth #DomesticViolenceAwareness #CommunityPartnerships #MentalHealthMatters #ElevateEmpowerHeal
