Trainset 165/166 has finally debuted in Revenue Service after being seen going through its testing round back in late-August 2026, with it being handed over to SMRT from LTA recently on 30th September 2026 for Revenue Service.
With that, Trainset 165/166 is the 106th and final R151 to ever debut in Revenue Service. This marks the completion of the Contract R151 Series after 3 years and 4 months from the time that the first ever R151 debuted in Revenue Service, which was Trainset 825/826 back on 4th June 2023.
This is a few days after first debuting in Revenue Service and being able to run more than just the TWE sector since it failed to even run on the day of its debut...
