The Truck Died in the Middle of the Storm — Emergency Roadside Engine Rescue | Part 1 A fully loaded truck suddenly broke down on the roadside after its engine suffered a catastrophic failure. Thick smoke poured from the engine bay, making it impossible for the driver to continue the journey. Our rescue mission started early in the morning. After a careful inspection on the roadside, we discovered that the engine had been severely damaged. Because of the extensive repairs required, it wasn't possible to rebuild the engine on-site. As the day went on, the weather became even more challenging. We continued diagnosing the problem until nightfall, working through heavy rain to determine the exact cause of the failure. In the end, the truck had to be towed back to our workshop, where the complete engine restoration could finally begin. This is Part 1 of the complete rescue story, covering the roadside diagnosis, engine teardown, and the decision to transport the truck back to the garage.
