Ostinato Drum Set Lesson Part One

http://www.powhow.com/classes/learn-d... This video is part one in a three part series that looks at a Latin based ostinato and sticking exercises to play over the top of it. The ostinato is made up of a 2-3 clave on the hi-hat and a mambo kick drum pattern. Hopefully it will inspire you to work on this drumset independence builder. Enjoy.
