Drum Solo "Until The End" (2 against 3 foot ostinato & modulations) // performance by DrummerMartijn

Download the FREE transcription of the main foot pattern (ostinato) from my website: ►http://www.drummermartijn.nl/educator... --- "This drum solo, based on a 2 over 3 foot ostinato pattern, has been my summer holiday home work assignment for the past 2 months. If you've seen my previous video '21 Eyes of Ruby - Until The End (live)' (if not, it's here:    • 21 Eyes of Ruby - Until The End - Live @ N...   ), you know where this solo is coming from: it's the basic groove of the song 'Until The End'. I've tried to expand (and extend) the idea as much as possible, including 'shifting layers' of groupings/stickings and metric modulations. So it's a kind of technical study or exercise, but still with the notion of a 'composition'. An 'etude' so to say. As always, I hope you'll like it!" --- recorded on August 21 2013 performed by Martijn Soeterbroek Based on the song Until The End (from album 'Conquer The World pt.5' (2010)) by 21 Eyes of Ruby.
