Faisal's Poetry at Its Peak ٹُوٹے دِل کی صَدا اور مُعافی A Broken Heart’s Cry for Forgiveness Maaf Naheeen | معاف نہیں مَیں آج بھی تُجھ سے یہ کہوں Even today, this is what I would say to you— تُو جہاں رہے — تُو خُوش رہے Wherever you are, may you be happy. تِرا چھوڑ جانا معاف ہے۔۔۔ I forgive you for leaving me… تِرا توڑ جانا معاف نہیں۔۔۔ But I cannot forgive you for breaking me… معاف نہیں۔۔۔۔۔ I cannot forgive it… معاف نہیں۔۔۔۔۔ I cannot forgive it… معاف نہیں۔۔۔۔۔ I cannot forgive it… معاف۔۔۔۔ نہیں۔۔۔۔۔! I cannot… forgive it. فیصلؔ، تِرا چھوڑ جانا تو شاید معاف ہو Faisal, perhaps your leaving her can still be forgiven. مَگر اُس کو یُوں توڑ جانا معاف نہیں But breaking her like this cannot be forgiven. تُو اُس سے بِچھڑ کر بھی خُود میں رہا Even after leaving her, you remained yourself. اُسے خُود سے بِچھڑنے کی اَذِیَّت معاف نہیں۔۔۔ But the anguish of making her a stranger to herself cannot be forgiven… معاف۔۔۔۔ نہیں۔۔۔۔۔ Cannot… be forgiven… کچھ جدائیاں معاف ہو سکتی ہیں۔۔۔ مگر کسی انسان کو اُس کے اپنے آپ سے بچھا دینا؟ شاید نہیں۔ Some separations can be forgiven… But what happens when someone is left so broken that they become a stranger to themselves? Maaf Naheeen ایک ایسے ٹُوٹے ہوئے رشتے کی صدا ہے جہاں شکوہ صرف چھوڑ جانے کا نہیں — بلکہ اُس ذہنی اذیت کا ہے جو انسان کو آہستہ آہستہ خود اپنے آپ سے جدا کر دیتی ہے۔ Maaf Naheeen is the cry of a broken relationship—not merely about being left behind, but about the mental anguish that can leave someone estranged from their own self.
