CHICKEN OUT RIDGE and Idaho's Highest Peak - Mount Borah! Super fun hike and scramble but be ready!

I just retired at the age of 50 and to celebrate I'm going to climb to the highest point of every U.S. State! In this video I hiked to the top of Idaho, Mount Borah via Chicken Out Ridge! This is my 2nd of 50 high points - completed on August 31, 2026. This hike is less than 4 miles to the top, but it's practically straight up with over 5,300 feet of elevation gain in those four miles ... and chicken-out ridge is no joke with tons of exposure along both sides. It's at least class 3 scrambling, maybe class 4 at certain points. Borah Peak stands at 12,662 feet of elevation. It's the 11th highest State high point but is tied with Mount Hood in Oregon at 5th out of 50 in terms of difficulty according to the U.S. Highpoint Guide.
