21:00 at Highcliffe Beach parkrun | 6th Overall & 🥇 1st M55–59

Back at Highcliffe Beach parkrun! 🏃‍♂️🔥 After taking a break from racing while I’m still waiting to get my knee sorted, I decided to come back to Highcliffe and see how the fitness was feeling. The plan was to run controlled and enjoy it — and for most of the run I settled around 4:15–4:20/km. I started in 10th place and gradually worked my way through the field, picking off runners along the way. Then with 1K to go, it was time to push! 💨 The final kilometre got progressively quicker, dropping from around 3:40/km down to 3:25/km as I headed for the finish. 🏁 *Finish: 21:00* 🏃‍♂️ *6th Overall* 🥇 *1st M55–59* It was a warm and humid morning too — 12°C and 83% humidity — so I’m really happy with how this one went. Most importantly, the knee caused me no problems while running. 👍🏻 Thanks for watching!
