Мэр Глендейла Арди Касакян: вся правда о политике, армянах и общественной жизни

Tonight on Louisa Live, I’m joined by Glendale Mayor Ardashes “Ardy” Kassakhian — public affairs strategist, educator, writer, father, husband, and proud Armenian-American. With nearly 30 years of experience in politics and public affairs, Ardy began working on political campaigns while still in college before serving 15 years as Glendale’s elected City Clerk. Today, he serves as Mayor of Glendale, teaches political science, and sits on regional boards focused on water, housing, and transportation policies impacting Glendale and Southern California. A graduate of both UCLA and Northwestern University and the son of immigrant parents, Ardy opens up about his journey into public service, the realities of local politics, civic engagement, representation, and why Armenian-Americans having a voice in public life matters. We also get into the lighter side of politics, family, culture, and what it really means to be Armenian-American — including passionate debates, way too much food, and, of course, the unsolicited relationship advice no Armenian family gathering would be complete without.
