"O Beloved! If imparting divine love is painful to You, I do not want it. मधुर-मिलन लगि विकल प्राण रह, विरह - अगिनि तनु छीजै । madhura-milana lagi vikala prāņa raha, viraha-agini tanu chhījai My soul will yearn desperately for sweet union with You and my body, burn in the fire of separation. प्राण जाँय जब पंचतत्व तनु, निज परिकर करि लीजै । prāṇa jāṁya jaba pañchatatva tanu, nija parikara kari lijai. O Lord! When I die, just engage the elements of my body in Your eternal service. प्रिया - मिलन दृगजल सों 'जल' मिलि, 'भूमि' चरण-रज कीजै । priya-milana dṛigajala som jala' mili, 'bhūmi' charaṇa-raja kījai Let the water element mingle with the tears of joy You shed on meeting Kishori Ji.Let the element of earth mix with the dust of Your lotus feet. कमल नयन बिच 'तेज', 'पवन' मिलि, सांसन जेहि पिय जीजै । kamala-nayana bicha 'teja', 'pavana' mili, samsana jehi piya jījai Let the element of fire become a part of Your lotus eyes and the air, a part of Your sweet breath. मिलि अकास जहँ महारास - रस, लली - लाल नित भीजै । mili akāsa jaham mahārāsa-rasa, lali-lala nita bhījai Let the element of ether become part of Sevā Kuñja where You and Kishorī Jī perform the mahārāsa along with countless Sakhis. रह्यो प्राण सो प्राणनाथ को, क्यों 'कृपालु' कर मीजै ॥ rahyo prāṇa so prāṇanātha ko, kyom 'kripalu' kara mījai Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj says, "I will not beg for the sake of my soul, since You are my Prāṇanātha, the Lord of my Soul and You will automatically take what is Yours, without my asking."51
